This is our WONDERFUL Williams King daughter!  She is mellow and an absolute sweetie!

Rose Creek Walkers is very EXCITED about this new filly! This is the story of how we came to pick Eva for our next edition to the Rose Creek Walker mare line up.
I have known of a son of Williams King-Williams Kodiak for several years now. I liked what I saw in the conformation of his foals and the consistency of his offspring. I later discovered his sire-Williams King. He too, has this prepotency that as a breeder-I admire greatly. I decided then that I wanted some of this line in my breeding program. I later saw an ad for King Pin and I realized that this line had to have great genetic strength to pass itself on so consistently, generation after generation. I am talking GOOD genetics. Conformation excellence, beauty, disposition, intelligence, bone and height.
I went to a training clinic last spring. There was a HUGE, I mean HUGE, chestnut gelding there with excellent gaits and an unflappable disposition. Calm and willing-a gentleman through and through. You just couldn't help but be impressed by this guy. Of course, as a breeder-I had to know-what bloodlines is he!?? You guessed it-he is a son of Williams King!
It didn't take me long to decide on the big, chestnut filly named Eva. Eva LOOKS like a Walker. She just shouts-WALKER!  I watched her with her playmates. She is very level headed and mellow, for one so young, that says a lot. She also is the biggest of the group and we are noticing some white hairs sprinkled throughout her coat-just like her sire has. We are very EXCITED about this wonderful filly!I had a chance to meet Williams King in 'person' recently (9-01).  He is all that I know Eva will be.  Kind, gentle, with a wonderful runningwalk and a presence that gives credit to his name-King!

The following is a quote from Franne Brandon.
"My husband tried to buy William's King from his breeder when he was a two year old. He's some horse, and so is King Pin, both highly successful in liteshod Tennessee competition before they began soring liteshod horses."

We finally have some new photo's of Eva, but this page is full.
You will have to go here to see the pictures of her.

Eva's Dam
Gold Dukes Lulu

"The dam of Eva is gorgeous, too, plus has a very unique pedigree."
Franne Brandon
"Gold Duke's LuLu" has a fourth dam called My Lover Lately. She traces back to Gene Autry's Tennessee Walking Horse-Stonewall Allen AKA Champion!

Eva's Sire
Williams King

Direct Sun was an old stallion when we found him on a farm in Nolensville, TN. He was owned by a Charlie Bond who had Angel's mother and together they faithfully produced a foal a year. Some friends and I bought several of these over a period of years and they all had good gaits and great dispositions as I can remember. I also visited the owner of Queen's King, a Mr. Herndon, and bought Lady Boss H, possibly the prettiest, biggest and best broodmare I ever owned-sorry, no further information available.

Williams King

Eva's Grandsire
King Pin

"The one I know about is King Pin; he is the sire of Kris Quaintance's
stallion and also a big black mare we have; another daughter is ridden
for rescue, etc. in CA;(THe CA mare has been in the VOICE several times.)
Some people we know in Billings have a daughter and a granddaughter.
I think he is one of the best stallions to ever stand in the West. He
is now in Utah and  don't know who owns him.  He was the MT State Walking Horse at the Hey Day and also the Colorado State Champion. Plus he was 2nd in long distance in the TWHBEA Versatility distance program.
He is the gentlest , kindest stallion with great big eyes; a beautiful
chestnut with a mane and tail and neck that are gorgeous."
